Galen Morgan Cooper studied acting at Lee Strasberg, has a Ph.D. in psychology and is certified coach. A specialist in the field of addiction, she speaks at professional meetings and to school, parent, and community groups and coaches families when addiction strikes.
Dr. Cooper is the author of the book, A Turmoil Called Home:My Family’s Journey into the Hell of Addiction, the memoir upon which the play is based. The play, an innovative approach to raising awareness about addiction, highlights the devastating effects on American families.
The play is directed by award winning Eva Minemar.
